Two nearby events and an all-women's card in Kansas City highlight the last weekend of a very busy April. Wherever you decide to spend your Saturday, make sure you get out and support local MMA, the world's most exciting sport!

Headlined by Booker Derousse and Dan McGlasson in the main event, and Rob Washington vs Sean Huffman in the co-main. Washington looks to get back to his winning ways after a bit of a rough patch in Canada's MFC. For more on "The Beast" and his return home check out our article. Two nations collide at the Farmington Civic Center on Saturday night. Nemesis Fighting Alliance in association with the MMA Sports Federation presents Team USA vs Team Canada. The card features fifteen amateur bouts highlighted with three members of Team Canada taking on Team USA coached by Joe Worden. The Destruction MMA coach will have a busy night as he will be cornering nine fighters on the card.

In the main event Tom "Taz" Baker will take on Bil Dwyer in a light heavyweight duel. This match will test Baker's incredible toughness and strong ground game versus Bil Dwyer's one-punch knockout power. Baker last fought at GFL 7 in a match that was awarded "Fight of the Year" honors from Spire, while he didn't get his hand raised that night he showed that he won't go down easy as the slug-fest with Tony Souders went deep into the fifth round. Dwyer is undefeated in three bouts and has never been out of the first round with his longest match lasting one minute and eighteen seconds.

Late additions Andrew Sanchez and Damian Newman have really beefed up what was already a strong offering from Nemesis.

Main Event: Tom Baker vs Bil Dwyer
Kelly Burch vs Freed Moore
Wil Alfaro vs Damian Newman
Luke Fulk vs Mike Hamel

History will be made in Kansas City as the first all-female event will be held. Invicta Fighting Championships features 11 bouts headlined by former Strikeforce Champ Marloes Coenen taking on Romy Ruyssen. Of local interest is St. Charles MMA's Ashley Cummins. "Smashley" will be taking on Sofia Bagherdai who is 4-1 in her career including a win over Fight Me vet Michelle Ould. This will be a tough test for the unbeaten Cummins, who's managed to keep a perfect record in her amateur and professional career.

Make sure you check out our article with Smashley when we caught up with her this past Sunday.

These fights will be streamed live from the Invicta website starting at 7. Cummins/Bagherdai is the second fight on the bill, so make sure you tune in early.
