Alp prepares for UFC debut

Alp Ozkilic will make his UFC debut on Saturday on UFC on Fox 9 in Sacramento. Ozkilic, a flyweight from St. Charles MMA, will be taking on Darren Uyenoyama (8-4). Uyenoyama lost to No. 1 ranked flyweight Joseph Benavidez in his last outing and has won four of his last six fights.

Ozkilic is 8-1 and is coming off a 30-second KO of former WEC and UFC vet Antonio Banuelos this past May under the Legacy banner. Ozkilic last fought locally at Rumble Time in February with TKO victory over Josh Robinson with some heavy ground and pound.

The UFC flyweight title will be on the line with Demeterious "Mighty Mouse" Johnson takes on Joseph Benavidez. Ozkilic will be replacing the injured John Moraga on the card.
